What is Puppy Pre-School?

At all of our clinics we pride ourselves on providing a fun, educational and positive Puppy Pre-School experience for you and your puppy. Our “PPS” trainers are either Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurses (or currently studying the Cert IV qualification).  They have received ongoing training in the areas of puppy preschool and canine behaviour.

Socialisation for your puppy in a safe and controlled environment

At what age can my puppy attend PPS?

The first couple of months are a pivotal time for your puppies social development.

To attend a class at any one of our clinics, your puppy should be between the ages of 8 – 14 weeks at the start date of the class.

Puppies older than this will be at a different developmental stage, therefore, interaction will be different. These puppies will benefit from attending a puppy class for older puppies or puppy obedience.

Can I bring my children and/or adult dog attend?

We encourage families to attend together to enjoy the learning experience together.

We do recommend a second adult when children are attending. Two adults are also  required when a second puppy in the same family is attending.

Adult dogs may not attend puppy preschool. This can be overwhelming for some puppies and we want their experience to be positive.
