Southern Animal Hospital Staff Member of the Month
Dr Nicole Savageau
Nicole has been with the Southern Animal Hospital group for almost 3 years after moving to Adelaide from the US. She received her Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Afterwards she completed a small animal rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, one of the largest specialty hospitals in the US.
She has absolutely loved living in Australia and having the opportunity to treat native Australian wildlife as well as cats and dogs. She has even had the opportunity to do a C-section on a shingleback lizard, which is certainly not something she has ever seen in the US!
Currently, she spends the majority of her time at our Seaford Vet Clinic.
When not at work, Nicole spends her free time volunteering for the Starlight Children's Foundation, the Cancer Council, and her church, or she is off traveling, scuba diving, or just reading a good book at the beach.
