Cat Adoption

Cat Adoption Program at the Southern Animal Hospital Group

We have a long history of finding new homes for stray and unwanted adult cats and kittens.

Cats and kittens must pass a full veterinary health check, and have the right temperament to enter the program.  They are also tested to make sure they are free of FIV (Cat AIDs) and Feline Leukaemia prior to going to new homes.

All "orphans" receive the following:

  • full course of kitten vaccinations
  • microchipping,
  • flea treatment,
  • deworming treatment,
  • as well as being desexed,
  • and have been very spoilt by our nursing team.

Our Cat Adoption Centre clients receive a full history (as we know it), and a vaccination certificate for their new pet.

If you are interested in giving a loving home to one of our beautiful cats or kittens please give us a call, or better yet - come in and see our Cat Adoption Centre and get to know one of our lovely adoptees!  We usually always have at least one (usually multiple!) looking for their FOREVER homes at each one of our hospitals.
